Going on a Leaf Hunt

Tower Work

Tower Success!

These towers hold two rolls of pennies!

Going on a Leaf Hunt

Today's wet day walk was a great day to find leaves.
Instead of splashing in puddles, we "painted" in them with leaves.

God Keeps Us Safe

Chapel

Can you see Gary the Puppet?
He's the puppet who helped Pastor Rouland with his message today.
Gary was really scared about Halloween tomorrow. He just wanted to hide in his room and build a fortress. Pastor Rouland helped Gary feel better. He told him he didn't need to be scared. God keeps us safe, takes care of us and is our strong fortress. (Psalm 46)

Thanks, offering helper!

What a Team Working on these Towers!

Outside Time

How many seeds were inside our pumpkin?

Today we counted and counted and counted.
A pumpkin has a whole bunch of seeds!
We counted to ten 57 times!
Ours had 570!

Towers and Pumpkins

Tower Work

Can you build a tall sturdy tower?
Today's work

Today's Block Tower

Pumpkin Math Continued

Today we estimated how many seeds we thought are inside our pumpkin.
Our estimates ranged from 5-140 seeds.

When it was cut open, we noticed the seeds were hidden in the slime.
Then we cut it like you would cut a watermelon and separated the seeds from the slime.
It was really sticky work!

Since the seeds are so slimy, we'll count them tomorrow to learn how many seeds we have.

A Gorgeous Outside Day

We noticed the moon in the sky and the leaves changing colors.
