Gingerbread

Chapel

Miss Bethany led chapel. She read Happy Birthday, Jesus to us.
The book reminds us that the best gift we can give to Jesus is our love.
We also sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus.

Gingerbread Fun

Reading

This week we read
The Gingerbread Boy
The Gingerbread Man
The Gingerbread Baby
and
The Gingerbread Girl.

Making

Today we made gingerbread man cookies.

Before chapel, we mixed the dough.
During small group time, we rolled out the dough and made the gingerbread people.

Eating

After nap, we ate the cookies. They were really crunchy. We noticed that we ate cookie differently. Some ate the head first; others ate the arms or legs first. How do you eat a gingerbread cookie?
