Clay, Rollie Pollies, and all kinds of Fun

The Clay

They loved rolling the clay into small smooth balls. To do that they added a little water.

The children are taking more pictures during choice time.

Here are just a few.

And then a few more ...
to show our teamwork!

A pile of grass on the sidewalk ...

pick it up and dicover that many rollie pollies have found a home!
The children had a great time picking them up!
One child needed a tweezers and a magnifying glass to pick them up and study them.

 Jesus Time

This week's story is about Abraham and Sarah waiting for their special baby to be born.

Story Time

We read The Very Clumsy Click Beetle by Eric Carle and

Where did it come from?

We found this while we were playing outside on our play space.
 Where did it come from?
So we went for a walk around our campus, looking for a tree that produced other things like this.
We had no luck!
Do you know what it is?

We did see ants eating a bug. Can you see it?

Our Stage

A Little Performance
Let's call it "Tip-Toe Through the Logs."

Chapel

Andrew Nelson, from Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church, led our chapel.
He told the Bible story from Mark 4:35-41, when Jesus calmed the storm. In this story Jesus wants us to know we do not need to be afraid, because He takes care of us.

Prayer Time!

Parakeet Drawings

A small group started drawing our parakeets today. They used oil pastels, a medium we haven't used this year. Amazing focus!
