Lenten Cross

The purple cross has six pieces.

Six Sundays in Lent.... Lent is important. It is a 40 day season.

When we flipped the cross over, we had a white cross, an Easter cross.

Six Sundays in Easter .... Easter is really important.

We'll celebrate it for 40 days.

Our Campsite

Today we worked on props for playing in our campsite.

Painting the tree trunks, so we have trees!

We have "marshmallows" on sticks!

We've read this book this week and watch a video of the author moving stones to create the picture of Palm Sunday. We loved watching it!

Beautiful Signs of Spring!

Pulling dandelions apart!

We marveled at the blossoms on the tree we walk by on our way to our play space!

We picked some off the ground and examined them in our room.

Thursday

We decided we should search for a new color.

We decided on blue! 

Wow! We found lots of blue!

The next feeling word in our book is angry.

We decided to find red items.

Since our table tops are red, we put our collection on top of it.
