Jesus Time
We are singing, "Jesus Lives! Alleluia! Amen!" by Carol Greens as our Easter song. She also wrote a book about Easter entitled, God's Easter Plan. The butterfly in the story is trying to understand God's plan.
Chick Report
After candling the eggs, it was evident that no chicks were growing in three of our eggs. Today we opened one of the eggs to see what it looked like inside. Before nap today, all the children watched a chick move inside the egg as it was candled.
In the other nine eggs it looks like chicks are developing. One more week and we will know which ones hatched. We are learning many new words about eggs, the life cycle of a chicken, and the hatching process.
Free Choice Time
When children are busy,
sorting jelly beans,
graphing jelly beans,
building with legos,
making awesome houses,
creating with magntiles
or pegs, then
unbelieveably the kitchen may be empty!

Our last egg to guess was the letter 'G'.
