Being Safe

Fire Drill

Practicing...

so we are safe.
During our morning gathering time, we talked about what to do in case of a fire.
We need to walk to the door and leave our building as soon as possible.
Today we didn't use the loud alarm. Instead, Mrs. Haun came to the door and said, "Fire! Fire!"
The children did a great job being safe and following the safety procedures.
When we came inside, we talked more about being safe.
We know ...
We need to always walk and keep our feet on the ground.
We don't go on the street. We stay on the sidewalk.
Some children also mentioned about being safe during a tornado or "if a bad person is here."
Then we talked about how our bathroom is a safe place for us to be.
Mrs. Lohman reminded them that her job is to keep them safe and their job is to help keep us safe.

Beautiful Work

Awesome to see them reading to the stuffed animals!

What a lovely display!

The recipe books have been quite popular so far!

Student Perspectivie

Teamwork!

Jesus Time

We reviewed the story of God creating our world.
We talked about how everything He created is a wonderful gift to us.

Favorite Things

We haven't started small group time, but instead have been doing a short whole group meeting.
Today we did a pattern chant. During this activity, everyone shared their favorite fruit and favorite animal.
