We love Gary the puppet visiting us.

Today Gary and Pastor Rouland taught us about the green paraments of the Epiphany season.

The green reminds us of growing plants and trees.

The Epiphany season is a time for us to focus on growing in our knowledge of Jesus and all He did for us.

How many brothers or sisters are in your family? 

These children have one brother or sister.

These children have two brothers/sisters.

(One child just welcomed a new sister. One is waiting for his new sibling to be born!)

The Parakeet Project

We finished writing our collaborative story today about our parakeets!

We started making props!

One prop we will need for the story is streamers for each child. The questions arose, "How many streamers should each child have?" We decided to vote. 

First the prop makers explained to the class how they needed help.

Then they took votes.

We won't share the outcome of the voting as this time.

But, we can't wait to share all our work!

Outside Time

So much colder today, but we still had fun!

A challenge for our play space - climb up the hill and go down the slide without stepping on the dirt.

We did it!
