Just Chatting

We talked about having quiet voices when we add two parakeets to our room.

We also talked about what we need for the parakeets before they arrive.

We will keep you posted!

The busiest place today was definitely the kitchen!

The clay was great as well.

The children were totally engaged in reading Rosie's Walk by Pat Hutchins.

Creating in the block area

They made -

a jet

an underwater speed boat

and a flying boat.

The Sand Table

They just loved filling and pouring.

Playing in the Kitchen

They played with the food and cooked.

What else happened today?

We enjoyed the beautiful day!

During Jesus time, we talked about the time Jesus blessed the children. He said, "Let the children come to me."

We read The Kissing Hand during storytime.

We put on our red Zion shirts and had our picture taken with the whole school.

The challenge: 

Make the tallest, strongest tower using jelly beans and toothpicks.

Working hard with the sixth graders!

The Test

Some fell immediately;

 others stood for a little bit;

 two stood the longest;

and one was just barely the tallest.

Then some more fun!

Water Day
