Morning Work
Yesterday these wooden blocks which are all made of different types of wood were introduced to the children.
Today they compared the weight of the wood. We were surprised that some are very light weight.
Morning Meeting
During our morning meeting, we enjoyed watching two squirrels from our window.
They were running around in the evergreen trees.
Chapel
Miss Bethany read a book about the candy cane.
We learned the candy cane reminds us of Jesus and the Christmas story.
It's shaped like a "J" which reminds us of Jesus. If you turn it around, it's like a shepherd's staff. The color red reminds us that Jesus died. The white reminds us that because Jesus died, we are washed clean and are white as snow.
Choice Time

We had a great time playing with our school family.
