The First Week of Advent
During our morning meeting and Jesus time, we talked about Advent. We changed our altar and read about God's people waiting and waiting for God's special baby.
We also have an Advent A to Z Advent chain. We took off the letter "a" link today. A is for angel. Many of our Bible stories this month will include an angel announcing important news.
Decorating - Day One
Today we added ornaments to our Christmas trees and decorated wreaths we hung at our windows.

Our sensory table now has many new treasures.
Fall Fun
As we walked outside today, we noticed many piles of leaves. We just had to stop and enjoy the crunchy leaves.
First, we were surprised by the piles on the sidewalk.
Then, we notice the bare tree!
Finally, we found a deep pile of leaves.
They were like a "bird house"!
