Class Color Day

All School Chapel

We sat with Mrs. Douglas's class and Miss Bevirt's third grade class. We looked rather striking in our black!

See the cross? It was made especially for National Lutheran Schools Week. All the students painted a piece of wood that was assembled into the cross.

Mr. Debrick talked about "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow." He told us about how buildings on our campus and people have changed over the years. He reminded us that even though there have been many changes, Jesus never changes. He then encouraged us to remember our responsibility to share Jesus' love, so that people tomorrow will know about Him.

Time with our Chapel Buddies

The third graders walked down to our room and we did three activities together. We had a devotion with all three classes. The children broke into small groups and completed the sentence, "We love Zion, because ...." and illustrated their answer. They also made snowflakes.
So fun to see everyone in their striking black!
