This morning we checked the tub of water we have outside our door. It had already changed to ice. We poured some salt on it to observe what happens.
Later in the morning we observed the ice chunk. It was "bumpy, spikey, harder, and cold."
Throwing Paper "Snowballs"
When we arrived in the Commons for another indoor play day, we discovered paper "snowballs" other classes had been playing with. We loved collecting them and throwing them.

They rolled the dice, counted the dots and then counted out the same number of rocks.
