Morning Stations

We had a busy group this morning.

Her Magnificent Thing 

She really is quite proud of her pet holder with a long handle.

Acting out the story of Zaccheaus

On Monday Mrs. Lohman told the story. On Wednesday she told the story using props. Today the children helped act out the story.

The people are shouting, "Jesus is coming!" Our tree has on a green scarf and a green hat. Zaccheaus has on the long green scarf and Jesus has a blue scarf.

During center time, some children took turns acting out the story.

Using Tools and Measuring

We read The Tool Book by Gail Gibbons. We learned the names of many tools. During center time, many chidren practiced using the tools

After building a tall tower, these builders wanted to use the tape measure to see how tall it was.

Then we put the tape measure on the ground to see what 57 inches that way. 

Blustery Day

On this windy day it was fun to watch the "shower" blow in the wind.
