Morning Work
Someone asked, "What happens if you mix the clay with the sand?"
So each child at the sand table took a small piece of clay and mixed it into the sand.
Now we're kind of wondering what it will be like on Monday.
Daffodil Drawings
This project involved three steps. First, the children drew the daffodil with a black permanent marker, the fancy pen. Then, they colored their drawing using an oil pastel. Finally, they painted it with water color paint.
Today's outdoor challenge - Can you run up the tire?
After a few tries, yes, you can!!
Jesus Time
We reviewed this week's Easter story egg one more time. Then we read a letter we received from Eunice, a child Mrs. Lohman sponsors through Children's Hopechest. She told us her favorite color, her favorite food, her favorite hobby, and what she wants to be when she grows up. She also drew us a picture. We are working on our letter back to her.
Today's Books
During storytime, we read It Looked Like Spilt Milk and Corduroy, two wonderful classics.
