Pumpkin Plants
Today we measured a few of them.
They were between five and seven inches tall this morning.
We decided they needed a little water.
We used our paint cups and carefully carried them half filled with water to our plants.
Practicing
Today we walked over to the sanctuary to practice our songs for Sunday, December 15.
One song we'll sing is "Away in a Manger".
We know the first verse, but we're still learning the second verse.
The words are:
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head;
The stars in the bright sky looke down where He lay,
The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky,
And stay by my side until morning is nigh.
You might want to sing them at home.
Glad Monster, Sad Monster
is a great book to read in connection with our Second Step posters we've been talking about.
We have chatted about feeling happy, sad, angry, scared, and surprised.
We acted out some feelings!
