Holy Week
Today we began our journey through the days leading up to
Jesus coming alive on Easter Day.
This week's story is Palm Sunday, the day remember the people welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem as he rode on a donkey. Today we talked about parades and how Jesus' parade was different.
We also colored, painted and cut out palm branches we will use to tell the story.
They are so beautiful!
New Choices
The children enjoyed a few new items in the room today, like ...
an ABC snake puzzle
a Curious George puzzle

and new treasures in the sand table.
Ramps
The ramp started in the block area ....
and went into the baby nursery!

Today we read I Want That Nut!
We noticed the author/illustrators amazing drawings
and talked about how we could create pictures like hers.
