This week we answered yes/no questions.
Tuesday - Do you have strips on your clothes?
YES - 8 children
NO - 7 children
Wednesday - Are you wearing pants?
YES - 9 children
NO - 2 children
Why are so many of us wearing pants?
Thursday - Do you have pockets?
YES - 7 children
NO - 7 children
We love it when we have a tie!

Through these questions the children are learning to notice details,
as well as develop number awareness and language.
Three Billy Goat's Gruff
We've read the story and now we started a bridge challenge!
This week we started tinkering with materials to learn how bridges are built.
This wasn't too hard.
Small red solo cups and large craft sticks were a little harder.
We almost did it, but that last one was too heavy.
Friday
We pulled out the bridge book.
We experimented with different types of blocks.
And after much tinkering, we did it!
We love our outside time!
Running, running, running on the parking lot
but also stopping to make sure a beetle crawls safely to the grass!
He made it!
Friday! Dance Party on the Stage!
We have some great dance moves!
Our Safe Place
The children helped make some of the signs and they are finally in our safe place!
We know that sometimes we get upset.
The safe place -
helps us calm down,
think about how we are feeling,
has materials to help us calm,
and then we are ready to solve the problem.
