On Monday the jar was filled with 10 wooden spools.
On Tuesday the jar was filled with 12 wooden people.
On Wednesday 15 Tootsie Rolls!
Each day the children estimate how many of the item are in the jar.
Their guesses have been between 3 and 17.
Then we count them.

We are learning that it's really hard to have our estimate match the amount in the jar.

Other Highlights
Making a new set of placemats for October and November
Learning about Abraham and Sarah waiting and waiting for a baby. Isaac was finally born. We have to wait and wait for things, too.
Reading books about fall leaves. We are learning the names of some of them so we are ready when they start falling from their trees.
Being interviewed by Mrs. Lohman about like and dislikes and a few questions.
