This Week in Review

Jesus Time

We loved acting our this story of Gideon and the Battle.

Painting a few more of our "trumpets"!

This battle is amazing, because 300 soldiers shared away the Midianites with blaring trumpets and torches. This only happened, because God was in charge of the battle.

Our prayer this week -

Help us to know Your love,
Give us strength, O Lord.
Help us trust in You,
Give us strength, O Lord.
Help us obey Your Word,
Give us strength, O Lord.
Help us serve You gladly,
Give us strength, O Lord.

Thankfulness

We sang about things we are thankful for.
We also watched VeggieTales Madame Blueberry.
We learned a grateful heart is a happy heart!

10 Fat Turkeys

We read this book every day during storytime every day this week.
We practiced counting down as each turkey did something silly and left the fence they were sitting on.

Feeling Angry

Our poster picture this week a picture of Li with an angry face because someone knocked his block building down. We also read When Sophie Gets Angry - Really, Really Angry ... by Molly Bang. Sophie had a special place to go when she was angry. We talked about special places we can go at home when we are angry.

We wrote our names for our November portfolio page.

Storytime with Ashley from Kisker Road Library

We listened to four stories read by Ashley. Then we voted on our favorite one.
What was your child's favorite book?
Shake the Tree?
Dandy?
Everybody says Meow?
or
What does an anteater eat?
