Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving

The Show!

Snoopy is the star of the show for 3, 4, and 5 year olds.
He got trapped in the basketball net, the garage, the pingpong table, the chair, and the treasure box.
The children loved the part when the chair starts moving by itself and tried to battle Snoopy.
But Snoopy didn't make the right feast!
He made toast and popcorn!

We wondered who drove the car.
Snoopy fixed a great Thanksgiving Day meal for Woodstock and himself.

How was our snack of pretzels, poporn, jelly beans, and graham crackers?

We gave it a thumbs up!

Breaking Apart Acorns

Some children found the big acorns in the sensory tub. They noticed cracks in them and worked hard to crack them open.
First, they tried pounding them.
Then, they stomped on them. (The acorns were rolling around the room some.)

They also used our class knives to saw on them.
Wow! Wonderful fine motor development as they pulled them apart!
The inside was soft and they could push on it.

What is that sound?

The melting snow filled the gutters and downspouts today.
It was wonderful sound to discover.
