Sanctuary and Squirrels

 Sanctuary Visit

After chapel, we walked over the church to see our sanctuary.
We walked around the perimeter of the sanctuary.

This is the pitcher used for the baptismal water.
When we returned, we drew a picture of our favorite place in the sanctuary.
Many children drew crosses with the cube on the bottom.
She decided to recreate the stained glass window on the smartboard.

After the walk to the church,

we were ready to run and run in the Commons.

Our first step in using our new workbench

We are so excited about our new workbench!
The children will have many opportunities to develop so many skills,
as they work with the tools, wood, and materials.
Before introducing any other tools, we need to practice an important safety rule.
No matter what we are working on, we must use the safety glasses.
Today they wore the safety goggles as they practice using the screwdriver with pre-drilled holes.

Our Web about Squirrels is Finished

We have written down what we know about squirrels on our web.

Next, we will talk about what we want to learn about squirrels.
