Snow Stories
During our morning meeting, everyone had a chance to share what they did in the snow.
What Fun!
Many snowmen were built; forts and igloos were played in; real snow angels were made; the joy of sledding was experienced; and there were some fun snowball fights.

Squirrels
Sometimes when we meet on the blue rug, we notice squirrels playing in the trees. I wondered if the children would be interested in learning more about squirrels. Today we read Squirrels: Furry Scurries and Squirrels and Chipmumks. We also watched a segment of a PBS Nature episode "A Squirrel's Guide to Success." Wow! We already learned so many facts about squirrels. We are already wondering what we can do as we learn more about them.
Jesus Time
Today we read Little Boy Jesus and learned about how different it was for Jesus when he was growing up. He rolled out his bed to sleep. His water came from a well. His food was cook over a fire.
