Making pumpkins
for our pumpkin patch mural.
Drawing leaves
We've drawn the "outside lines."
Next we will paint them.
Finishing our Pizza Serving Restaurant sign
When the restaurant is open, we will have three cooks, two servers, and four customers (at the most). We will also take phone orders, but we'll only do pickup at this point. We aren't quite ready for home delivery. (We'd need a car!)
Cutting open one of the pumpkins we decorated at our Harvest party
X marks the spot for cuttting it.
We used spoons to scoop out the seeds.
The inside was slimy and gooey with seeds.
It also had a little black stuff inside.
Wondering how we can make this bridge sturdier
We had a great time playing with it, but it fell down so many times.
We tried a few strategies, but we don't have a solution yet.
More tomorrow.
Enjoying the beautiful weather day
Listening to Moses
He told us about when he and Isrealites crossed the Red Sea on dry land.
(His robe was a little too white!)
We did love listening to the story though.
Looking at the inside of the black walnut
We found this on the playground on September 25.
We've been observing its transformation since then.
Today it broke open and we finally saw the nut inside it.
We'll study it more closely tomorrow.
