Blocks
During small group time, each group worked together to build a structure. We took turns adding two-three blocks that touched the other blocks. Each structure was so unique and we enjoyed working together.
At one of the other small group stations children created with the pattern blocks.
During center time, these two thoughtfully built their structure.
Then they wanted to turn off the lights, so they could see if the jewels would sparkle. We added a flashlight to help them sparkle. We had a great time taking pictures of the creation.
Shadows
We will not go outside on Monday for the Solar Eclipse, but we have talk a little about it.
Today Mrs. Lohman brought in a globe. We talked about where to find where we live. We did talk about the moon casting a shadow on the Earth.
Before going outside, we talked about watching for our shadow outside.
It was a wonderful shadow day.
Running in circles and watching your shadow move was especially fun!
Gym Time
We mostly just ran and ran in the gym. It was wonderful to run with a friend.
