Just a few of this morning's busy engaged learners

Passing the Talking Ball 

During group time today, we practiced listening to each other as we passed the "talking ball." When you held the talking ball, it was your turn to share.

Chapel Today

We gathered in the Commons and sang our special chapel songs. We sang the B-I-B-L-E. We also listened as Mrs. Haun read Who Will Help? We want to be like the Good Samaritan and help Friends of Kids with Cancer.

Small Group 

During small group time, Mrs. Lohman demonstrated two strategies for creating beautiful watercolor pictures. 

Use a little water and lots of paint. 

The brush just needs to touch the paper.

Then everyone practiced those strategies.

Outside Time

We were grateful the rain stops and we were able to run outside. Some children practiced running really fast like cheetahs. We also watched our shadows appear and then disappear.
