The Last Three School Days ...

Jesus Time

We have learned about God's beautiful creation.
Unfortunately, it isn't perfect anymore, because of sin.
On Monday and Tuesday, we've talked about how we can take care of God's beautiful world. We read Recycle by Gail Gibbons and talked about how some things we use can be reused or recycled like paper, glass, and aluminum cans.

Dots

We've also been reading the dot and Lots of Dots in anticipation of creating dots on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Imagination and Creativity

A Toaster Kingdom!

Letter Assessments

The children are beginning to share their current knowledge of letter names. This information is compared with the May assessment to see how much they have learned during the school year.

Lunch Time

We're having a hard time remembering our cleanup procedure after we eat our lunch. This is partly, because it's hard to hear Mrs. Lohman. On Tuesday before storytime, we thought of a couple hand motions Mrs. Lohman could use instead. One hand motion is for packing up lunch boxes; the other hand motion is for throwing trash away. Ask your children if they know the motion to watch for.

Parakeets

On Monday, they received two new toys from Mrs. Lohman's sister, Mrs. Braun. One was added to their cage. We haven't notice them playing on it yet

On Tuesday we notice them making lots of noise when we were making noise. What if we are quiet? So we tried it. Guess what!? They were quiet, too. So when we are quiet during naptime, they are quiet. They are definitely learning our routine.
