Greetings to all of you!
During our outside time, most of the children were just running, running, and running some more. When they finally stopped or slowed down, we went inside.
They grabbed their water bottles and took some big drinks.
Group Time
Here is our "what we know about rocks" web.
Today we read the web. Now we are wondering what we would like to learn about rocks.
We will keep you posted. In small groups we have started reading a few rock books.
Jesus Time
Mrs. Lohman told the story of Abraham and Sarah traveling across the desert to their new home. After they arrived safely, they built an altar out of rocks. They thanked God for being with them.
Free Choice Time

A tent and a tower fort
During free choice time, nine children practice their cutting skills. Their work will be added to their portfolfio. Here are a few of the serious faces focused on their work.
And just a few other shots of children increasing their knowledge of God's world as they interact in their envrionment.
After playing so well, we then had an amazing clean-up time.
They really worked together and finished the job quickly.
