Happy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!

Our first question for you today is:
Can you pretend your foot is a cellphone?
We can!

And ...
it sure is interesting looking through a magnifying glass,
but a magnifying sheet is even better!

Our special morning work
Covering the dotted letters with stones
The children were able to practice developing important fine motor skills.

These boys are doing a great job putting away the unifix cubes.
Please note the Zion Bobcat colors.

"Go, Bobcats!"

We love learning new listening strategies.
I am demonstrating "Spider on the Mirror."
We also learned "Train Coupling" and "Ocean Waves."

Then it's time to run and move outside
before chapel and before it's too hot.

Our leader for today guiding us into chapel
Miss Bethany read the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.
She had a picture of a s'more and explained to us how a s'more reminds us of all that Jesus did for us.
The graham cracker: The Cross
The chocolate: the darkness of sin
The marshmallow: Jesus

After chapel

Our birthday cakes are ready for the bulletin board!
Everyone has a birthday during the school year, except for Mrs. Cruz.
In November and February we will celebrate five birthdays!

Free Choice Time

Wonderful expressions of engagement while playing

We are anticipating our first birthday of the school year!
She is making our September calendar sign.
