International Dot Day

Our International Dot Day!
It was a great to see all the dots we wore to school!

Our Morning Activities
Painting Dots and Dot Stickers
They had such a great time!
At the sticker table they put all the stickers on the paper.
(And that is A LOT of stickers!)

Additional Dot Day Fun

Outside Time
Today's favorite activity included fast running, running, and running.
A few children are working hard digging a hole in "the forest".

Wow! She looks so strong!

Group Time
They were enthralled watching Peter H. Reynolds read his book The Dot.

After snack, we looked at Wassily Kandinsky's most popular piece Squares with Concentric Circles.
We just called it The Dot painting. The children was all kinds of eyes.

Then during free choice, they created their own design.
Here are twelve of our creations. They will all be posted in our room soon.

Other Free Choice Happenings

The scavenger hunt fun continues.
These two guys searched for dots in our room and recorded their findings with tally marks! Awesome!

Wonderful block work!

Jesus Time
Today we sang "Father, I Adore You" and read God Made Me His Child in Baptism.
We have also had fun singing "God is Number One."
