Chapel
Mr. Debrick read John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish." He then talked about cheering for our favorite team. He reminded us to cheer for Jesus through our words and actions.
How many pennies will your boat hold?
We tested one boat. First, we predicted how many pennies it would hold. Then we tested it. This boat held six pennies.
This boat held all 45 pennies. Before we went to chapel, we noticed some water leaking through some very small holes. When we returned from chapel, this boat had sank.
More Testing
Today these children had a chance to make a boat and test it. Many of them made a boat with sides.
For our last boat of the day, we decided to see how many things we could add to the boat before it sank.
We kept adding things from around the room.
And finally it sank!
