Today we made our boats out of aluminum foil.
This group talked about how their boat needed to have sides.
Each boat was placed in the water. Then the creator added pennies, one at a time.
Some of the boats held three or four pennies. Other boats held 45 pennies.
Learning Centers
Today during learning centers, many children told Mrs. Lohman the names of upper case letters and some lower case letters. This assessment is completed in fall and then again in the spring.
The rest of the room was filled with children engaged in many wonderful learning experiences.
