Apples, Apples, and More Apples

Morning Stations

They were a busy group once againg this morning.

A Rocket Ship House

Chapel

Today Mr. Nelson told us about strong towers. Jesus is our strong tower.
At the end of chapel he told us to put out our hands. Then he spoke the blessing. We caught the blessing in our hands and put it in our hearts.

Apple Tasting

Today we tasted seven different varieties of apples!
We sampled a gala, granny smith, golden delicious, honeycrisp, pink lady, fuji, and a zestar.
Five children liked the zestar best.
Four liked the pink lady.
Three liked the granny smith.
One liked the honey crisp best.
One liked the golden delicious best.

The apples were all tasty. Some were juicier than others. Some were crunchier than others. One was kind of sour. They were all healthy!

We loved listening to the different sounds the apples made as they were being cut.

Munch! Munch! Munch!
Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!

Our apple day continued as we sang the Johnny Appleseed prayer for snack, lunch, and at the end of the day. One of our stories today was a reread of Ten Apples Up on Top.
