What is a circuit?

Miss Preusser's Sixth Grade Class Visits Our Class

The sixth graders taught our class about electrical circuits today. They had just completed their unit on this topic and were very excited to share their knowledge. In four small groups, they explained a circuit to our class.

"A circuit is kind of like holding hands in a circle."

The children were great listeners as they worked hard to catch all the information the sixth graders were sharing.

The sixth graders did a great job showing us how a circuit is a circle.
If the circuit is broken, the light will not go on.

Human Circuit

Both classes gathered in a big circle and held hands.

Do you see the energy stick?
When everyone in the circle was holding hands, the group made the energy stick go on. If anyone dropped his hands, the energy stick didn't work. The circuit was broken.

Mrs. Reed pretended to be a chef, as baseball player, and someone going on a safari. She asked us when God loved her more. The answer was all the time. God doesn't look at us on the outside, but on the inside and He sees that each one of us is very special. So no matter how we change on the outside, God's love for us never changes.
