Happy Reformation Day! and

Happy Halloween!

Morning Stations

Using marshmallows and toothpicks this group made a spider web.

Just because....

We pulled out many of the golf tees and cut open this pumpkin. We discovered black and white mold inside. Guess we won't take the seeds out of this one!

Chapel

Pastor Rouland led chapel with help from Gary the puppet. We had a great message about Halloween and Reformation. Sometimes during Halloween we can feel afraid of all the things we see. This reminded Pastor Rouland of Martin Luther, a man who was afraid of everything even God. Five hundred years ago he started sharing some really important good news. We don't have to be afraid, because Jesus loves us so much.
We also noticed the beautiful red paraments on the altar.

Outside Time

Leaping from the log to the stage
Many children tried and were very close.
What a great challenge!
As the year progresses, many will accomplish this task.
