Do you notice a few flannel shirts?

 Red Ribbon Week

Lumberjack Day

Our campus was filled with many flannel shirts today. We had a number in our class. Do you see them?

The Library Lady

We loved the library lady. She read Leonardo the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems and told us a story without a book using a piece of orange construction paper.

Outside Time

How about we put the wooden pieces on the shelf?
How fun!

Learning Centers

So this crew wanted to build a boat in the block area. Before they began building, Mrs. Lohman suggested they draw a picture of their ideas. They decided they wanted a very long piece of paper (60 inches long, to be exact) and drew the flag for the boat. Well, 30 minutes later, they were still drawing their boat and having an awesome time adding more and more details. They even needed to draw more details on the other side of their paper.

Busy, busy work at the writing center

Another Focused Worker
She was busy typing, writing a list, and checking things off her list for most of center time.

Would you like to join our birthday party meal?
What a wonderful feast!

This team used a pliers to remove the golf tees and spoons to remove the seeds.

This team found these blocks and had a great time building with them.
