Whole Group Time
Asking for What You Need and Want
We learned today that Gloria needed help with her zipper. She was able to zip her jacket yesterday, but today it isn't working. She told her teacher what was happening. Her teacher helped her get the zipper started. We then talked about how important it is to let people know what you need and why.
What's in the bag?
Mrs. Lohman filled a bag with shapes. She picked a shape inside the bag and described it to the children. The children then guessed the shape.

During small group time, these children built this structure. They wanted to remember what it looked like so they could built it again during learning centers.
We also . . .
wrote a class book about what we do with our friends. The most important thing friends do is play together.
got tricked by Mrs. Lohman during Jesus time. She told us she had something really special in a bag. We thought she probably had some candy. But all she had in the bag were some small tiles. She relly tricked us! We were reminded of how Jacob tricked his father Isaac in this week's Bible story.
